Why I decided to change my blogger name
Ok, I think it's time we got this out of the way. As I first mentioned I would be doing a couple weeks ago, I have officially changed my blogger name from Hippo to SLOTHBEAR. But the real story goes back a lot longer than that. I took SLOTHBEAR as my DJ name during the summer of 2023, right around when my one year anniversary of blogging was, but continued blogging as Hippo, although the SLOTHBEAR name sort of found its way on to the server. And then my last two years of marching band, there was a Discord server for the UC sax section, which I was part of. Still, no one here knew me as Hippo except on here. Fast forward to the second half of 2025, of course, I was getting my posts out way too late, sometimes even after the next countdown ended.
