2022 Countdown Extras Rankdown (Complete)

Hello and welcome to the 2022 countdown extras rankdown. Over the next few weeks, we will be taking all 53 countdown extras from 2022 and ranking them as a community. If you don't know what a countdown extra is, it's a random song from that weekend's episode of hitbound that plays in between #16 and #15 (and it also used to air between #31 and #30 back when the countdown had 45 songs) The list of countdown extras is always completely random, from small hits, to big hits and hitbound dropouts. If this is your first rankdown, here are the rules:


Rank the songs from 53 to 1, with 53 being your least favorite and 1 being your favorite
Don't be a jerk by ranking songs higher or lower to sabotage their performance

Obviously I regret ranking this lower. Looking back, this is better than I thought it was when I made my list, but it seems as though it is still hated by a few people.

This would be an amazing song if it had like a house beat over it or some kind upbeat production, because Talk sounded very good here and the melodies were amazing.

Anonymous Grande Fan, Zestpond, Bubby, and Waffle lose more bottom 10s, with Waffle losing his #53. Daniel, unfortunately, is the first of us to lose a top 10 song, losing his #9. Oof.

Oh no! Daniel already loses his second top 10 song only five songs in! Sorry dude. On the other hand, both Trey and Zestpond lose their #53s and Metro Boomin Stan also loses another bottom 10.

I probably would have forgotten how this goes had she not performed it on SNL, but it is a really fun song.

With that, Zestpond is now the first of us to clear his top 10, not only that, he still has all of his top 10s in the game. Great job. My10Baby and Anonymous Grande Fan also lose bottom 10s, and Metro Boomin Stan gets his second PR. Unfortunately, Trey loses his first top 10 song.
