My Favorite Song Two Years Ago: Black Eyed Peas/ Ozuna- Mamacita
#1 Recommendation For Hits 1: The Chainsmokers/ Ship Wrek- The Fall (because what would have been my recommendation this week debuted Hitbound)

Up first, we have Demi Lovato's latest, Skin Of My Teeth. This is good. I like the pop punk production here, although I already found out last week when I talked about this that it was not Barker behind the production. Also, Demi sounds good here. I'd be fine with this doing well.

Up next is Alec Benjamin's first countdown appearance in over two years, this song is called Devil Doesn't Bargain. This is really cool. I've always liked Alec Benjamin's accent, and he sounds good here too. The production is also really fun. I hope this becomes another huge hit for Alec Benjamin here.

And now the best debut of the week, Numb by Marshmello and Khalid. I personally find this as good as Linkin Park's 2004 song of the same name. I think Khalid sounds great here, and Marshmello's production here reminds me a lot of Imanbek's production style, this is a good thing because I really like Imanbek's production style. I hope this song does well.

Next up, we have Halsey's latest, So Good. This is fine, it sort of reminds me of Hardest To Love by The Weeknd productionwise, and she sounds fine, it's not too memorable. Maybe this will grow on me, but it could get moderately annoying. We shall see...

And finally, Potion by Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa, and Young Thug re-entered at #21. Thank God that happened.

Hitbound (not including Sunday Bests)
Charlotte Sands- Dress
Drake- Falling Back (Debut)
Eddie Benjamin/ Alessia Cara- Only You
Saucy Santana/ Latto- Booty (Debut)
Black Eyed Peas/ Shakira/ David Guetta- Don't You Worry (Debut)
Dixie- A Letter To Me (Debut)
Muni Long/ Saweetie- Baby Boo
Amelia Moore- I Feel Everything
Joji- Glimpse Of Us (Debut)
Maggie Rogers- Want Want
Lizzo- Grrrls
Stephen Sanchez- Until I Found You (Re-entry)

So Drake surprise-dropped a new album last week, and Hits 1 picked up on a random track from it called Falling Back. I liked Drake's songs Girls Want Girls and Way 2 Sexy from Certified Lover Boy last year, and I like this one too. The EDM-type production is really fun, and Drake sort of sounds like Sam Smith at a few points during the song, although I know Sam Smith is not featured here because apparently, the only guest appearance on the entire album was 21 Savage. Anyways, my only issue with this is that it gets super repetitive at the end, but it's fine. I hope this debuts.

Next up, we have a song that sounds like it came straight out of a RuPaul show, this is Booty by Saucy Santana and Latto. During this song, Saucy Santana sounds a lot like RuPaul, that's why I said this sounds like it came out of a RuPaul show. And Latto sounds like... well... Latto, but that's always a good thing. Also, there is questionable lyrical content, but with good prduction and a good Latto verse, this all balances out to decent.

So I mentioned earlier that this next song would have been my recommendation this week had it not debuted, but alas, here we are. Anyways, the Black Eyed Peas and Shakira have collaborated again following Girl Like Me from two years ago, this song is called Don't You Worry, and it contains production from David Guetta, who also produced BEP's 2009 smash hit I Gotta Feeling. I've always been a fan of the Black Eyed Peas, and I also really like this. David Guetta's production absolutely slaps here, and Will.i.am, Apl De Ap, Taboo, and Shakira all sound good. Overall, yet another solid bop from the Black Eyed Peas that deserves all the success it can get.

Well... we have a random track off Dixie's new album, this is called A Letter To Me, and it is the title track to that album. This is decent. It's a little slow, but Dixie sounds good and the production sort of evolves throughout. I don't fully expect this to debut, though.

Alright, when was it first a thing for Hits 1 to start picking up on church hymns? Because that is what I feel like happened with this next debut, Glimpse Of Us by Joji. I liked Walking from a few years ago, but I don't like this new song at all. It's way too slow and sounds like it belongs in a church. And for whatever reason, this debuted at #10 on the hot 100 this week. Completely undeserved, especially since Ass It Was and Running Up That Hill are in the top 10 as well. I hope this flops.

Lastly, Until I Found You re-entered Hitbound after jumping 8 spots last week. I hope this can re-enter the countdown, even though I'd still like to see an EDM remix of it.

We lost Pgnl, Wild, Mean, Best Lover, Don't Come Back, and Goodbye. Pgnl is in the abyss, so hopefully it debuts next week, and I'm completely fine with the rest of them going.

Blurbs:
Aside from Until I Found You, our other exits were Wrapped Around Your Finger, To The Moon, Enemy, and She's All I Wanna Be. I wish To The Moon lasted a little bit longer after it re-entered a few weeks ago, Wrapped Around Your Finger was never too memorable, so I'm fine with that going, Enemy had a great run on here including six weeks at #1, so I'm also not about to complain there, and She's All I Wanna Be was fine, I was just never too sold on it.

Ugh. Why did Jiggle Jiggle fall to the bottom spot on its second week? This should be climbing.

At least I Like You climbed five spots off its debut.

I've decided I don't like Viva Las Vengeance. I forgot about it before hearing it this weekend, and I now feel like the multiple key changes are too much. That said, I hope its five spot jump up to #24 is short lived.

Why is first class continuing to flop?

Ayy Supermodel is in the top 20. Let's go!!!

Hold My Hand climbed three spots off its re-entry last week. Alright.

Thousand Miles grew on me a ton this past week. I really like it now.

Numb Little Bug dropped 10 spots down to #14. I would not be surprised if this were its last week here.

10 Things I Hate About You fell three spots. Good. Get out of here.

Out Of Time is now in the top 10! I hope this can dethrone Ass It Was in the coming weeks.

When You're Gone is now at #6. It's good, but not that great.

I guess that does it for me this week, see you guys next week.
