Ok starting with a debut that came out two weeks ago, Easy Lover by Ellie Goulding and Big Sean. I really like this one. She sounds great throughout and the production is pretty cool too. I think my favorite part might be Big Sean's verse. He sounds great and his accent goes really well with the production. I hope this does well.

You have got to be kidding me right now. This next song is actually on the countdown and I was really hoping it would not be, especially making as high of a debut as it did. Anyways, we have Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush, which is literally from 1985, on here. This is quite bad. First off it's way too old to be charting on here, and second, it sounds like something coming out of a Disney Princess movie, and in this case, that's not a good thing. Not to mention this song feels way too fucking long for what it is. And do you guys want to know where the fuck this bullshit actually came out of? Stranger Things. I never had any intention of ever watching Stranger Things at all, but after Running Up That Hill cracked the Top 10 on the hot fucking 100 and started playing on pop radio stations I definitely had no intentions, and now that it's #16 on Hits 1 I definitely will not be watching Stranger Things any time in my life. I'm just super mad at the Stranger Things music department right now. It's exactly as though they forgot Tiktok exists and thought they would get away with adding it to the soundtrack without it blowing up thirty-seven years after its release. And if this means I can create a fucking sci-fi show set in 2022 with I Love U, Jiggle Jiggle, Don't You Worry, or any other song that Hits 1 has fucked over this year, I would gladly love to do that because those three songs deserve to be here so much more than this super old piece of shit. Will this be my worst song of 2022? No, because Ass It Was will be #1 and Glimpse Of Us will be #2. But it will be higher than 10 Things I Hate About You, and I bring that up because that song leaving was supposed to be a W, but instead it's only a partial W because Running Up That Hill is here. I hope it flops.

Hitbound
Saucy Santana/ Latto- Booty
Billie Eilish- The 30th (Debut)
Calvin Harris/ Justin Timberlake/ Halsey/ Pharrell- Stay With Me
Yung Gravy- Betty (Re-entry)
Russ/ Ed Sheeran- Are You Entertained (Debut)
Conan Gray- Disaster
Kane Brown- Grand (Debut)
Blackbear- The Idea
Dixie- Someone To Blame
Panic At The Disco- Middle Of A Breakup (Debut)
Fletcher- Becky's So Hot (Debut)
Muni Long/ Saweetie- Baby Boo
5 Seconds Of Summer- Blender
Dove Cameron- Breakfast
Jax- Victoria's Secret
TXT/ Iann Dior- Valley Of Lies (Debut)

Ok starting off with Billie Eilish's latest, The 30th. The only two songs off her album from last year that I liked were NDA and Happier Than Ever, while I also liked Bury A Friend, Bad Guy, All The Good Girls Go To Hell, and Everything I Wanted. Because I ranted way too hard on Running Up That Hill, I'll just keep this short and sweet: It's too slow for me to like.

Betty by Young Gravy is back. Nice to see.

Earlier this year, Russ made his Hits 1 debut with his song Handsomer, which was pretty good, and today he brings us Are You Entertained with Ed Sheeran. This is pretty good. They both sound great and the production is kind of fun. I hope this does well here.

Fun fact: This next song is actually Kane Brown's first solo song on Hits 1. He previously had One Thing Right with Marshmello, Be Like That with Swae Lee and Khalid, and Memory with Blackbear on here, and those were all great songs in my opinion. This is also super great. He sounds great throughout, and the trap production suits his accent super well. I hope this can do well.

Well these last three songs exist I guess, I forgot what they sound like, but I do remember deciding to give them the rankings I gave them. Up next is Middle Of A Breakup by Panic At The Disco. This is so much better than Viva Las Vengeance, mainly due to no obsessive key changes throughout. Also, he sounds good and the production is fun. It's pretty forgettable though.

Fletcher is back after Bitter dropped out of Hitbound early last year. I liked that song, but it was not as good as the version with Trevor Daniel. Anyways, This is super forgettable, but like the previous one, I do remember it being good.

Lastly, Kpop group TXT bring another song after PS5 from earlier this year. That song was kind of interesting to say the least. This new song, Valley Of Lies with Iann Dior, is not as great as that one, but it's still good. I feel like the TXT guys don't have much of a presence here and it's mostly Iann Dior singing. I still would not mind this doing well though.

We lost Jiggle Jiggle (again), Dress, To Be Loved, Substance, and Wait 4 U. It sucks that Jiggle Jiggle never got a second chance, so I'm sad to see that go. Dress sucked, so good riddance to that. To Be Loved was never too memorable, so again, I'm fine with that going, and the last two are in the abyss, so I wouldn't mind Substance debuting, and I really hope Wait 4 U debuts.

Blurbs:
Our exits were 10 Things I Hate About You and Sweetest Pie. 10 Things I Hate About You was pretty bad and Sweetest Pie was getting pretty old, so I'm fine with both of them going.

Why did Glimpse Of Us climb two spots off its debut last week? I'm sure no one wants this.

Can Love Me More just go already?

Big fat oof on Potion falling 13 spots out of the top 10 to #21.

Yeah I'm sure no one wants So Good in the top 20 either

Big fat HAH on Ass It Was continuing to fall.

Still kind of surprised on Until I Found You at #11. I'm not complaining at all, it's a good song, even though I still feel like it would be better remixed.

Guess 2 Step might be on its way out in the coming weeks

Yes! I like You is now at #7!

Also great about Maybe You're The Problem in the top 5, although Waffle is definitely happier about this than I am.

Not as happy about Late Night Toppling at #2. Hopefully, this pulls a Treat People With Kindness and gets blocked.

I guess that does it for me this week, see you guys next week.
