So we had one debut this week, but it's Lil Nas X's latest, Star Walkin. This is pretty good. He sounds amazing here throughout and the production is extremely cool, although I'm questioning if that's actually him singing the second verse, but it's fine. I hope this becomes huge here.

Hitbound
Omar Apollo- Evergreen
Shawn Mendes- Heartbeat (Debut)
Tai Verdes- Two Sugars
Tate Mcrae- Uh Oh (Debut)
24kgoldn- Mistakes (Debut)
Havanna Winter- Heaven To Me
Ed Sheeran- Celestial (Debut)
Leah Kate- Monster (Debut)
Quinn XCII/ Big Sean- Common
5 Seconds Of Summer- Best Friends
Aidan Bissett- Tripping Over Air
Kelsea Ballerini- Heartfirst
Mike Posner- I'm Not Dead Yet
Cheat Codes/ Russell Dickerson- I Remember
DJ Khaled/ Drake/ Lil Baby- Staying Alive
Beach Weather- Sex, Drugs, Etc

We have a new Shawn Mendes song on here this week called Heartbeat, which is from the movie Lyle Lyle Crocodile. I generally have a great track record when it comes to soundtrack songs, like We Don't Talk About Bruno and I Ain't Worried. This new Shawn Mendes song is pretty good. He sounds pretty good here and it has interesting production. That's all I remember about that song though. I need to listen to it more.

Yesterday, Tate Mcrae put out a new song called Uh Oh. I don't know why, but I feel as though this has some reggaeton type production. Well, it goes really well with Tate Mcrae's voice, and all of these are compliments. This might be the best thing I've heard from her since You with Regard from last year. I still want her to do something with J Balvin, Bad Bunny, or Zion & Lennox though.

Up next is 24kgoldn's latest single Mistakes. This is good. It reminds me of Fine Appe by Nic D from last year. He sounds fine here. This is also forgettable. All I have to say.

Ok this one is going to be interesting to talk about. We have Ed Sheeran's latest single Celestial, and it's from an upcoming Pokemon film, and this Hitbound episode might be the first time I knew he was a Pokemon fan. Anyways, this is pretty good. He sounds great and the production... is dance pop here and is super catchy. I actually looked up who produced this after I first heard it, and it was Steve Mac, who has produced bangers in the past. I want this to do well.

Saving the best for last, we have yet another Leah Kate song, this is called Monster. This is an amazing song, though not as good as Twinkle Twinkle Little Bitch from earlier this year, but better than Shawn Mendes and Justin Bieber's song of the same name from two years ago. Honestly, Leah Kate sounds better here than other songs, and the writing is somewhat creative. I'll say it again, I knew she was capable of better songs than 10 Things I Hate About You.

We lost 29, Unholy, Wrapped Around Your Finger, and Billie Eilish. 29 was never that great, so I'm fine with that going, and the last three are in the abyss (although I'm not sure if Unholy is or not). I hope Billie Eilish debuts next week, and while Wrapped Around Your Finger is slightly growing on me, I'm still not sure why Hits 1 wants to be a thing.

Blurbs
Our only exit was Grand. It was good, but it was apparently lacking in airplay its entire run, so I'm not surprised.

Why are Calm Down and Pink Vomit flopping with extremely similar runs?

NOOOO!!! Why did Make You Say and Super Freaky Girl drop? These should still be climbing!

Glimpse Of Us needs to leave ASAP

Nice. I'm Good actually jumped four spots off its debut. I really want this to crack the top 20 next week.

Hey Jackie Reed, I'd like to drop by your office sometime this coming week so I can teach you how to remove About Damn Time, Maybe You're The Problem, and Bones from the countdown.

Forget me jumped huge off its debut last week. Expected, since it is a Lewis Capaldi song after all.

World's Smallest Violin also got a huge boost to just outside the top 15

Seriously? Late Night Toppling back up 1 to #14? Come on, this should continue to fall or even be gone.

Million Dollar Baby got a huge boost up to #11. Sweet.

Thank God, we don't need So Boring almost in the top 5.

Unfortunately, it traded places with Victoria's Secret. This seriously cannot make the top 5 next week.

Music For A Sushi Restaurant actually fell two spots instead of rising two spots. Continue falling please.

I Ain't Worried is now at #3. I'd love to see this dethrone Left And Right instead of MFASR or 2 Be Loved (or as I saw someone in the discord calling it and what I will be calling it from now on, 2 Be Annoyed).

I guess that does it for me this week, see you guys next week.
