I've Had It (Week of 3/4/2023)

My Favorite Song Two Years Ago: Conan Gray- Overdrive
Recommendations For Hits 1: Oliver Tree/ David Guetta- Here We Go Again and Sigala/ Mae Muller/ Caity Baser/ Stefflon Don- Feels This Good
In 2019, Post malone released his album Hollywood's Bleeding, and it contained the song Die For Me with Future and Halsey, which was really good. Now Halsey has taken her verse from the song and made it into a full song, with the chorus of the Post Malone song and a new verse, and I'd say this came together very well. She does a great job here vocally and I like the production here. Super enjoyable.
Our other debut comes from the Jonas Brothers and their new song Wings. This is good but I want to like it more. They sound pretty good and it has interesting production, it could be a bit longer. That's my one complaint about this.

Up first, we have another song from The Kid Laroi called I Guess It's Love. I'm not too sold on this yet. He sounds pretty good but the production is pretty slow. It's really forgettable too. I'd like a good single from his album sometime soon.
Folks, welcome to the latest episode of Shitbound, where we can't pick up on legendary bangers like Here We Go Again by Oliver Tree and David Guetta or Feels This Good by Sigala, Mae Muller, Caity Baser, and Stefflon Don, but we can pick up on Cinderella Snapped by Jax. People in the discord have said this gives off Victoria's Secret vibes, and I can sort of see that, but this is better, although not by much. The production and key just make more sense here, despite the lyrics being similar to those of VS. I don't see this fading on me in the future.
Next up, Hits 1 picked up on my Recommendation from anywhere other than Don Toliver's Love Sick album, Next To You by Loud Luxury, Dvbbs (making their Hits 1 debut), and Kane Brown. This is quite good. I like the production from Loud Luxury and Dvbbs, and Kane Brown sounds amazing as always. I'm assuming the song is about his wife Katelyn given the lyrical content, but I'm not here to judge.
Folks, welcome to the latest episode of Shitbound, where we can't pick up on legendary bangers like Here We Go Again by Oliver Tree and David Guetta or Feels This Good by Sigala, Mae Muller, Caity Baser, and Stefflon Don, but we can pick up on Where Do You Go by Jessie Murph. I see no reason why Mikey Piff would want to make her a thing with the songs I've heard from her, especially this one, which is not good at all. It's a bit too slow and she has sounded better before. Please stop picking up her music Piff.
Yesterday, Macklemore put out a new album called Ben, and Hits 1 picked up on a song from it, this is No Bad Days with Colette. It gives off the vibes of Maniac from last year in a way. I like Colette's hook and Macklemore does a great job in his verses. I'm glad this is here.
Folks, welcome to the latest episode of Shitbound, where we can't pick up on legendary bangers like Here We Go Again by Oliver Tree and David Guetta or Feels This Good by Sigala, Mae Muller, Caity Baser, and Stefflon Don, but we can pick up on.... uh....... I'm not entirely sure how to explain this next debut. It's literally a demo ballad of Flowers by Miley Cyrus. Is the original really that fucking overrated? Yeah, of course this goddamn demo Ballad is not good at all and I'm not even sure why Mikey Piff would think it's a good idea to add a fucking demo ballad in the first fucking place, much less one of the MOST FUCKING OVERRATED SONG RIGHT NOW, and it's almost just as confusing as to why Miley Cyrus would even put out this shitty demo ahead of her album that comes out next fucking week and contains ACTUAL FUCKING SONGS! Are you really that fucking impatient for the album to be out, Piff? Meanwhile, there are plenty of ACTUAL FUCKING SONGS that he could have added instead. I swear to god, this demo ballad better be out next week or we will have serious fucking problems.
And lastly, we have a real song from Renee Rapp called Bruises. This is pretty good. There could be more production at the beginning, but it definitely evolves well throughout and Renee Rapp sounds amazing. I hope this can be on the countdown.
We lost Last Night, That's What I Get, This Is What Heartbreak Feels Like, A Little More Time, Can't Tame Her, Bang Bang, and FINALLY Hate You. The first three are in the abyss, so hopefully they debut next week, especially Last Night. I wish Can't Tame Her had gotten a chance because it was really good, A Little More Time and Band Bang were not that memorable, so I'm fine with that going, and Hate You lasted way too fucking long on here and got extremely annoying, so good riddance to that.
Blurbs
Our exits were Uh Oh and Where Do We Go Now. Uh Oh was fading on me, so I'm fine with that going, meanwhile, Where Do We Go Now should have lasted longer and peaked higher.
I guess Golden Hour is on its way out, it fell six spots. He's done way better songs.
Weapons also took a big tumble. Good. Please get out of here.
Seriously? Escapism at #15? This should not be here, I don't get why people like this.
Nice having Thank God at #14.
Umm... I'm not sure why Creepin is continuing to drop. This should be in the top 5.
I'm Not Here To Make Friends and Special jumped into the top 5. I'm fine with both of these, especially the former.
Ok I really hate Flowers now. It's just gotten way too overrated in the past few weeks, and now that a goddamn demo ballad of it has made Hitbound, this is seriously an extremely annoying song. When this first debuted at #1 on the hot 100, I thought it would last only a few weeks, but it's been there ever since, but it was mainly the demo ballad o Hitbound that prompted me to hate this. Yeah. I hope this gets dethroned by 10:35 next week.
I guess that does it for me this week, see you guys next week.
