Up First, we have Tori Kelly's new song Missin U. This is a really great song. I like this kind of production and Tori Kelly sounds amazing here. I'm Glad this is here.
And our other debut is not as great, Ceilings by Lizzy McAlpine. I'm not sold on this yet. She sounds fine and it's in a tolerable key but the production is super slow. I'm not sure how this is going viral, but I'm not all that entertained.
Hitbound
Nicki Minaj- Red Ruby Da Sleeze
Ed Sheeran- Eyes Closed (Debut)
Patrick Martin- Dandelion Eyes
Notd/ Maia Wright- AM:PM (Debut)
Crash Adams- Give Me A Kiss (Debut)
Beabadoobee- Glue Song
Nicky Youre- Shut Me Up (Re-entry)
All Time Low- Calm Down
Fall Out Boy- What A Time To Be Alive (Debut)
Lewis Capaldi- How I'm Feeling Now
Big Boss Vette- Pretty Girls Walk
Amelia Moore/ Jxdn- Fumd (Debut)
Jessie Murph- Where Do You Go
Toosii- Favorite Song (Debut)
Jvke- This Is What Losing Someone Feels Like
Ed Sheeran's new album Subtract comes out in a couple months, and today, he brings us Eyes Closed. This is actually pretty good. He sounds pretty good and I like the production, and the lyrics sort of hit hard as it is about his friend he lost earlier this year. Good song, I hope this can do well.
Up next, we have Notd's new song AM:PM with Maia Wright, who I know from collabs with Armin Van Buuren, Gryffin, and a few others. This new song is super great. I like Notd's production on this and Maia Wright has amazing voice on here. I hope this doesn't get fucked over please and thank you... (disclaimer: I am surprised they picked up this instead of new EDM songs from Jvke or Leah Kate, but I'm not complaining at all).
More randos, this time Canadian duo Crash Adams is on here with their song Give Me A Kiss. I'm not too sold on this yet, whoever is doing the vocals sounds fine and I do think it has interesting production, it's just super forgettable.
Yesterday, Fall Out Boy put out So Much For Stardust, and today, we get a random track from it called What A Time To Be Alive. I haven't listened to the album yet, but this song off it is really good. I always enjoy the production on FOB's songs, and this has amazing production as well. Patrick Stump also does an amazing job with the vocals. I would like this to be a hit.
Time to flex on everyone. Next up is a new song from Amelia Moore and Jxdn called Fumd. This is getting a lot of hate, but not from me. In fact, I really like this. Amelia Moore's vocals are solid, and she sounds like a cross between Olivia Rodrigo and Leah Kate in the chorus this time. Jxdn's verse is also solid. I think this was produced better than Amelia Moore's other two songs on here. I should not like this. But I do, and I'm fine with that.
Lastly, we have a song that is on Tiktok rn, Favorite Song by Toosii. This is a super cool song. Toosii's flow is amazing and I like the production on here. Catchy song.
We lost All Of The Girls You Loved Before, Sugar Sweet, Bells In Santa Fe, Freezing, Found, and Feather. The first one is in the abyss, but I would really like for it to not debut please and thank you. Ant the other ones I don't mind leaving.
Blurbs
Our exits were Made You Puke and Enough. I liked both, but they were starting to fade on me and they've been here for a long time. So I'm fine with that.
River jumped five spots off its debut. I'm fine with this for now, but I don't want this to become overrated as Flowers.
Why is Thank God flopping?
Ayy Boy's A Liar Part 2 in the top 20. Great to see.
Wings jumped six spots... this would be better longer.
Can Weapons not rebound a lot?
Creepin might be on its way out, It was not on the survey and it fell five spots. But it had a great run here.
Oh boy, Lottery in the top 5? I'll take it.
But it gets better, as Flowers a spot and 10:35 hits #1 this week, making it the first #1 for either Tiesto the rapper or Tate Mcrae, as well as the first EDM song to hit #1 since Come & Go by Juice Wrld and Marshmello in 2020. I'm stoked that this is #1 because Flowers was getting extremely annoying and this is an amazing song. I see this getting dethroned by Heaven in a few weeks, but I don't care, since both songs are great and 10:35 is #1 now.
I guess that does it for me this week, see you guys next week.
finally someone else who enjoys fudgeupmydreams. RIP both exits (hopefully mother can do well on the countdown and T.W.I.G. can debut in the next coming weeks)
