We start our list of debuts with Lead Me On by Fletcher, who makes her first appearance on here since Becky's So Hot a couple years ago. This one is pretty good too. This is the right sound for her, it makes more sense than Becky's So Hot and she sounds pretty good here too. Good to see this.

Next up, debuting out of absolutely nowhere, we have Say Cheese by Paul Russell coming in at #27. And I honestly like this more than Lil Boo Thang. He sounds good here and I like the production here, plus it might have a catchier hook than Lil Boo Thang. I also like that he is rapping in the second verse. I hope this sticks around for a few weeks.

Looks like XXL by Lany finally made its way on to the countdown. Moderately late, since this has faded on me since it first debuted. The good traits are still there-- it's in Bb major, whoever is singing sounds good, and The production is solid. I must have heard this too much on my playlist or it stuck in HB for relatively long. It's fine though.

Our final debut is On My Mama by Victoria Monet. This is just good. She sounds fine and I like the production, but this just isn't exactly for me. Again, it's not bad at all.

Hitbound
Knox- Here's To Us
Madison Beer- Make You Mine (Debut)
Fall Out Boy- So Much (For) Stardust
Alec Benjamin- Pick Me
Emei- Love Me Not (Debut)
Teddy Swims- The Door
Crash Adams- Good Side
Alex Warren- Before You Leave Me (Debut)
Flyana Boss- Candyman
Dua Lipa- Training Season (Debut)
The Beaches- Blame Brett (Debut)
Eliza Rose/ Calvin Harris- Body Moving
Nicky Youre- S.A.D. (Debut)
Jagwar Twin- Bad Feeling
Willow Avalon- Honey Ain't No Sweeter
24kgoldn- Clarity

Up first, we have Make You Mine by Madison Beer. This is pretty good. It reminds me of Everything I Wanted by Billie Eilish but if that song were produced by Lost Frequencies. In other words, pretty cool song.

So instead of a fire new song from Gryffin and Rita Ora, we have this. It's Love Me Not by Emei, and I'm confused as to how to have an opinion on this. Apparently, Mikey Piff compared this to songs by Asse and Leah Kate. On to how I feel about the song: When she's actually singing, she sounds fine, but her occasional talk singing is not normal at all, and it's way too prominent. It doesn't bring the song down too much.

Next up, we have Alex Warren making his Hits 1 debut. This is called Before You Leave Me, and it's pretty good. He sounds like Lewis Capaldi or any of his other clones, but somewhat better. The song is also upbeat, so that's a good thing. So overall, good song.

Dua Lipa has a new album coming soon, and we have the latest single from it, Training Season. This is quite a great song. She sounds pretty good throughout and it has cool production-- what you'd expect from a Dua Lipa song. I should mention that Daniel said this has a key change, and when I listened, I didn't hear one. So... that's a relief.

Next up, we have an all female rock group called The Beaches with their song Blame Brett. This is interesting. I know this is a breakup song because Mikey Piff said that Brett is the name of the lead vocalist's ex. And this is honestly executed flawlessly. She sounds pretty good and it has some interesting lyrics. So interesting song.

Lastly, we have a new Nicky Youre song... I would just like to point out that two years ago, he had Sunroof and Eyes On You, which were hard vibes that sounded almost exactly the same, but today, his new song is called S.A.D., and this is not what I was expecting from him. It's almost as though the title describes the song, but at least the production is upbeat and he sounds fine. I just hope his next song sounds almost exactly like Sunroof and Eyes On You.

We lost Too Much (which is in the abyss), Stupid In Love (even though it was the extra, so I'm hoping it's also in the abyss), Somebody New, You're Gonna Go Far, Lonely Dancers, and Maybe Life Is Good. The last three were just good, so it's fine. Except since we thought Say Cheese was gone for good last week and then it debuted out of nowhere this week, all six dropouts from this week could be in the abyss, so I'm going to leave no further comments about them.

Also, I've decided I don't like Candyman. The lyrics are somewhat cringe, notably a joke about Diabetes that Daniel pointed out last night.

Blurbs:
Our exits were Strong Enough, J Christ, Good Good, and Fall In Love Again. Ok, could we stop having songs leave from the top 5? I think Strong Enough should have dropped a little bit before leaving. It's sad that J Christ flopped as hard as it did, it deserved more success. It's also quite inconvenient that Good Good went recurrent when Usher was performing at the Superbowl halftime show. Lastly, I'm not sure Fall In Love Again is gone for good and could possibly re-enter in the coming weeks.

Could Wherever U R and Brain Dead stop exchanging spots every week, with Brain Dead reaching a new peak?

Wouldn't be surprised is Standing Next To You is on its way out.

Ok, why did Lovin On Me drop huge? This deserves the top 10 for much longer.

Well, at least Seasons finally made the top 15. That's quite good to see.

Selfish and Yes And jumped huge into the top 15, and while I'm not entirely sold on these yet, I'm glad to see them getting success.

Good. Is It Over Now is dropping. I hope this leaves before her next album drops in April.

Looks like Not My Fault has made the top 10. Good to see.

Yes I'm A Mess and Strangers both reached new peaks. Yay for both.

Not The 1975 is now in the top 5, and now, I honestly want this to hit #1 in the coming weeks and I definitely see that happening.

I guess that does it for me this week, see you guys next week.
