Our first debut this week is from Twenty One Pilots, this is called Overcompensate, and it is their first song since The Outside from about 2.25 years ago. I've always liked Twenty One Pilots, and this is no exception. Tyler Joseph sounds amazing per usual and I like the production. Glad they're back.
Last week, Ariana Grande dropped Eternal Sunshine and was the musical guest on SNL, and while on there, she performed this next song, We Can't Be Friends. I'd consider this an improvement over Yes And. The production is similar, but the key is an improvement, and the strings at the end are pretty cool. I'm totally cool with this being here, especially since it's the single.
Our final debut comes from Stranger Things actor Joe Keery under the Jxdn/ Jvke/ D4vd type stage name Djo, this is called End Of Beginning. This is really just good. It's on the slower side but Djo sounds pretty good, so I'll take it.

Teddy Swims- The Door

Haiden Henderson- Hell Of A Good Time (Debut)
First up, Before You Leave Me by Alex Warren re-entered. Super happy it's back.
Our first actual debut comes from Meghan Trainor and T Pain, this being T Pain's first song on here since 2012, according to Zestpond, this is called Been Like This. This is super cool. Both of them sound quite good, especially T Pain, and I like the production on this. I hope they make this a hit.
I'm still waiting for Nicky Youre to do another song that sounds like a carbon copy of Sunroof or Eyes On You, but today, he brings us Part Time Lover, and I'd say this is back on the right track for him, as it's a love song. He sounds better and the lyrics are definitely happier, even if not by a huge margin. So overall, good song.
All right. Normally, I like Zayn, he's definitely a lot better than his 1D bandmate Harry Styles, but today, he brings us What I Am, and this honestly isn't for me. The production is on the slower side and he doesn't sound exactly like himself. Maybe if they didn't make this a hit, that would be cool.
Thankfully, it gets a lot better, because Kenya Grace brings us her second song to Hits 1 after Strangers, this is called It's Not Fair. And I'm calling it, this is better than Strangers. The production is similar to the aforementioned song, but the key is an improvement, plus, she once again sounds quite good. Glad I heard this.
Lastly, we have Haiden Henderson making his Hits 1 debut with Hell Of A Good Time. And... that's not exactly what I had when listening to this. This gives off the vibes of someone like 347Aidan, but I'm not completely sold on this as of yet. He sounds fine and the production is on the solid side, I'm not entirely sure what about this I don't like. I'll figure it out soon.
We lost Lighter, Austin, and Just A Girl. Maybe if Luke Hemmings hadn't dropped Shakes, Lighter would be finding a lot more success here and it deserved more success that Shakes will ever get. The other two are in the abyss, So hopefully, they debut next week.
Blurbs
Our exits were Agora Hills, Wild Ones, and On My Mama. I was starting to get tired of Agora Hills, so I'm fine with that going. I'm not sure what the point of bringing Wild Ones back if it was only going to leave three weeks later, and On My Mama wasn't exactly that great, so I'm overall fine with the exits.
How are Greedy and Lose Control still here?
Looks like Lovin On Me also might leave next week. I still like this one quite a bit, though.
Looks like Training Season is finally starting to do something.
Beautiful Things has made its way into the top 10, actually surpassing its peak from the fake countdown we did a few weeks ago. It would be interesting to see this make the top 5.
Houdini is still #1... Yeah, I think this has been #1 for long enough, and it's time for something like Not The 1975 or Feather to be #1.
I guess that does it for me this week, see you guys next week.
