Our first debut is Mamushi by Megan Thee Stallion and Japanese rapper Yuki Chiba, and it's from Megan Thee Stallion's latest album. This is just good, mainly because I'm unable to understand any of the Japanese lyrics here, but the beat is solid and Megan Thee Stallion's English rapping is on point like always. This could grow on me though.

Next up, we have the moderately underwhelming return of Shawn Mendes, this song is called Why Why Why. This is a bit mediocre. It's a bit slow for my liking (although not as boring as It'll Be Okay from about 2.5 years ago, anyone remember that snoozefest?) and he has sounded better before. I hope the rest of his album is better than this.

Whether you wanted it or not, we have not one, but two Charli XCX songs debuting this week. The first one is Guess with Billie Eilish, which is the better one imo. This is quite good. The production is super fun and both of them sound good. Yes, Billie Eilish can do EDM songs the right way, and I'd honestly like to see more Billie Eilish EDM songs somewhere down the line. Anyways, Charli XCX and Billie Eilish have surprisingly solid chemistry together. Banger, deserves more success than the rest of Brat.

In between talking about Charli XCX songs, we have to talk about the actual best debut of this week, Lonely Road by MGK and Jelly Roll. Ok guys, this is quite great, and I don't even care that Mark from Billboard Breakdown hates it. It samples Take Me Home Country Roads by John Denver in a noticeably good way. Also, this gives off the vibes of Tickets To My Downfall and Mainstream Sellout, and that is easily the best era of MGK's music. So yeah, Travis Barker did a great job producing and both MGK and Jelly Roll sound quite good and have surprisingly solid chemistry. I hope this becomes a hit.

And last up is the other Charli XCX song, Apple. I'm calling it, this is one of the more normal songs from the album. It has a fun beat to it and Charli XCX sounds pretty good. So a couple good songs from an album I'll never get the appeal to.

Hitbound:
Beabadoobee- Beaches
Post Malone- What Don't Belong To Me (Debut)
All Time Low- Dear Maria Count Me In (ATL's Version)
Lady Gaga/ Bruno Mars- Die With A Smile (Debut)
Halsey- Lonely Is The Muse (Debut)
Kesha- Joyride
Henry Moodie- Right Person Wrong Time (Debut)
Katy Perry- Lifetimes
Jessie Murph/ Teddy Swims- Dirty
Benson Boone- Pretty Slowly (Debut)
Finneas- For Cryin Out Loud
Maren Morris- Push Me Over
Andy Grammer/ Maddie & Tae- I Do (Debut)
Hozier- Nobody's Soldier (Debut)
Dasha- Didn't I
Role Model- Scumbag

Up first is a song from Post Malone's new country album F1Trillion, which I will be listening to later today. All but two of the tracks feature a country artist, and Hits 1 picked up on one of the ones without any guest appearances, while Daniel added Nosedive with Lainey Wilson to HOF. The one Hits 1 added was What Don't Belong To Me, and this is pretty solid. It doesn't need any guest appearances, as it has a fun beat, Post Malone sounds great, and it's in Bb major. So yeah, of the five songs I've heard from it, they are all great.

Although Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars have been around since the late 2000s/ early 2010s, they have not collaborated until yesterday, and Die With A Smile is a pretty good song. It's a bit slow, reminiscent of the Silk Sonic songs that aren't Skate, but the song being in A Major and having great melodies is what makes this for good. So I shouldn't like this. But I do, and I'm cool with that.

I've been underwhelmed by Halsey lately, with her last song that I quite enjoyed being Forget Me Too with MGK three years ago. So today, the third single from her upcoming album is here, this called Lonely Is The Muse. This is a pretty good song. It has a solid beat and she sounds great throughout. So yeah, she has definitely improved since The End from earlier this year.

Please stop picking up on Henry Moodie. His music is never that great, and this new song, Right Person Wrong Time, is just all right. It's his most upbeat, but it's just a bit forgettable. I might need a break from Henry Moodie after this though.

Benson Boone is back with another song, this is called Pretty Slowly. And it's pretty good. The first half of this reminds me of Stick Season by Noah Kahan from earlier this year, and that is a definite compliment. And then after the second hook, it takes a Just Can't Get Enough/ Sweater Weather turn and has a swing beat. All of this, Benson Boone sounds great throughout So overall, pretty good song.

It's been five years since I last heard from Andy Grammer, his last song on here was Don't Give Up On Me in 2019. Today, he brings I Do with country duo, Maddie & Tae, who were not featured on F1Trillion btw. On to this song, this is pretty fun. The beat on this is pretty fun, and both Andy Grammer and Maddie from Maddie & Tae sound great, and it has some great lyrics. Great to see Andy Grammer back.

Lastly, Hozier put a couple new songs recently, and we now have Nobody's Soldier on here. This is good but not as good as Too Sweet. It is another well produced song and Hozier sounds quite good throughout, but I'm not exactly wowed by the melodies on here. This could definitely grow on me though.

We lost Heatstroke, 15 Minutes, and Work It Out. Heatstroke is in the abyss, and I wish the other two had debuted, they were both growing on me a decent bit.

Blurbs:
Our exits were Lunch, Illusion, Too Sweet, Hot Uptown, and Summer So Hot. Lunch was better than what she had last year, Illusion was solid, Too Sweet had a great run and will be missed, Hot Uptown flopped a little bit hard, and Summer So Hot could re-enter, but it's unlikely.

Carry You Home finally got a decent jump. Great to see.

Million Dollar Baby is once again in the top 20, hopefully it stays or jumps next week.

Of course 360 is in the top 15.

Miles on It jumped into the top 10 this week, and has surpassed its predecessor One Thing Right's peak of #15.

Good Luck Babe has now risen up to #2. Hopefully this hits #1 next week. Also, it traded places with Please Please Please, and that is a massive upgrade imo.

I guess that does it for me this week, see you guys next week.
