Only two debuts this week. First up is a collaboration between Teddy Swims and Giveon, the latter of which I haven't heard from in a hot minute, this is called Are You Even Real. This isn't all that great but still tolerable. It's relatively slow but has an alright beat and this should have been in a different key to be pulled off correctly. Teddy Swims and Giveon both sound fine, though. Not what I wanted, but decent enough.

Our other debut is a song Morgan Wallen put out on New Year's Day, this is called Smile. And if I'm being completely honest, this is my "least favorite" song from him, even if it is still good. It's a bit slow, and unlike something like 7 Summers, Wasted On You, or Last Night, there's not much of a beat here but he sounds good like he always does. I still should have liked this more.

We lost Messy and BMF, both of which are in the abyss and could debut next week.

Blurbs:

Touch and It's Ok I'm Ok fell into the bottom 5. I don't expect these to last too much longer.

2 Hands finally jumped huge. Hopefully this starts to do something.

Born With A Broken Heart is finally in the top 20. It's starting to fade on me, so I hope this doesn't last too much longer.

Sailor Song finally made the top 20 too. I'm more fine with that.

Close To You finally looks to be on its way out.

Nice to see Good News rebounding after its drop last week.

That's So True is now in the top 10. Expected.

And we have a new #1 this week, APT by Rosé and Bruno Mars, this being Rosé's first ever #1 on here, in fact, the first ever #1 on here from anyone in Blackpink. Additionally, it's the first Kpop song since Left And Right by Charlie Puth and Jungkook in 2022 to hit #1. And I'm perfectly alright with this. The song is good, especially compared to select tracks from that album that Hits 1 picked up on. So I'll take this at #1 for a few weeks and then will likely move on.
