After spending multiple weeks in Hitbound and then multiple weeks in the abyss afterwards, Last Night's Mascara by Griff finally makes its way on to the countdown. I still like this one quite a bit. It reminds me of Green Light by Lorde in a good way and Griff sounds quite good throughout. Glad this finally made the countdown.
And then Timeless by The Weeknd and Playboi Carti re-entered. Deserved.

Yesterday, Tate McRae dropped So Close To What, and from it, we have Revolving Door. This is solid. She sounds pretty good and I like the beat here. It's just a bit forgettable, but I'll need to give it more listens.
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco finally realized that Scared Of Loving You is a shitty excuse for a leadoff single for their collab album, so they dropped a second single this week, this is Call Me When You Break Up with Gracie Abrams. Marked improvement over what I talked about last week. Benny Blanco's production is a lot better and both Selena Gomez and Gracie Abrams sound good here and sound good together. So great song.
It's been about a year since I last talked about Dove Cameron on here, but she's now here with Too Much. This is honestly rather interesting. The beat here is very interesting and she sounds pretty good, I should also point out that there are a couple parts of this where she sounds a little bit like Kylie Minogue of all people. So yeah, I'll take it.
God dammit, I was hoping I'd never have to talk about Avery Anna on here again, but now she returns after two years with Mr Predictable. I don't exactly care for this one. It starts off painfully slow like the first song of hers that I talked about, Narcissist. Then, it takes a bit of a bit of a Happier Than Ever by Billie Eilish esque turn after the first hook, and I'm calling it, that was better executed on that song than it was on here. So yeah, not that great, I'm probably done talking about Avery Anna after this.
Jennie is continuing to release singles from her next album, this next one is ExtraL with Doechii. This is... interesting to say the least. The beat is a bit wild and both of them have a good flow over it. So yeah, fun song. Unlike...
(sighs) Yeah, we unfortunately have this to talk about next. This is by a guy named Brenn and it's called Franklin House. Yeah, this sucks ass. It's really slow and boring, Brenn's voice sounds way too haunted, and the lyric "I will survive, but I'll never recover" makes this more depressing than it should be as this seems to be about a brutal breakup. Not to mention this feels way to long for what it is. No one needed this, and we sure as hell didn't want it. Fuck this song.
It thankfully gets a lot better, as we have country singer Ashley Cooke teaming up with Joe Jonas for All I forgot. Yeah, this is pretty good. Both of them do a good job here, and even I'm surprised about how well Joe Jonas can do country. The beat here is pretty cool, too. Great song.
Lastly, Love Looks Pretty On You by Nessa Barrett re-entered. I'm sure we didn't need this. Like, at all.
We lost Busy Woman, Scared Of Loving You, Love Is A Stillness, Basic Being Basic, Don't Panic, Take You Down, Love Hangover, and Body Talk. Unfortunately, Busy Woman is the only one of these in the abyss, and I think we all know what happens next. Scared Of Loving You and Love Is A Stillness sucked ass, so good riddance to those. Basic Being Basic should have debuted, and I'm fine with the last four leaving, Body Talk was starting to fade on me.
Blurbs:
Our exits were Moonlit Floor and Fat Juicy &. Moonlit Floor was definitely fading on me, so I'm fine with that leaving, and Fat Juicy &, despite only lasting two weeks, exceeded expectations for a Sexyy Red song on the countdown.

Diet Pepsi seriously needs to go the fuck away next week.
Sailor Song dropped huge, this could leave next week.
Guilty jumped into the top 15. I'm fine with this for now.
Abracadabra jumped huge into the top 10. I'm much happier about that.
Nooo why did Good News drop 3 spots?
How the fuck is Birds Of A Feather still in the top 10? It has been here for almost 40 weeks now and is getting more annoying by the week.
So we have a new #1 this week, Pink Pony Club by Chappell Roan. Honestly, I'll take that. This is definitely not getting more annoying the longer it's on here, in fact, it may even be growing on me. This also continues the streak of Chappell Roan songs hitting #1 following Good Luck Babe and Hot To Go last year. Thank God Kaleidoscope was not part of that.
I guess that does it for me this week, see you guys next week.
