Only two debuts this week. First up is Handlebars by Jennie and Dua Lipa. This is good. I think they both sound pretty good but it doesn't have the kind of production I was expecting, it's a bit slower than I anticipated. So solid song but could've been better.
Our other debut is Safeword by Halsey. Compared to past Halsey songs, this sounds like a cross between Nightmare and Forget Me Too with MGK. Although, I will say it sounds closer to the former, which was decent at best. And yeah, this is tolerable, it has an amazing beat and Halsey sounds pretty good, it's just moderately forgettable. But overall, decent.
Hitbound:
Justice/ Tame Impala- Neverender
Chappell Roan- The Giver (Debut)
Imogen Heap- Headlock
Lizzo- Still Bad (Debut)
Dove Cameron- Too Much
Almost Monday- Can't Slow Down
Emei- Crazy Stupid Love
J Hope/ Miguel- Sweet Dreams (Debut)
Ryann- Dirty
Alex Warren- Ordinary
Alessi Rose- IKYK
Jisoo- Your Love
Jisoo- Your Love
Doechii- Anxiety
Knox- 50/50 (Debut)
Cil- You're A Liar
Ashley Cooke/ Joe Jonas- All I Forgot
Only four debuts this week. Starting off with my easy favorite, The Giver by Chappell Roan. She first performed this when she was the musical guest on SNL last November, and now it's finally here. Yeah, this is quite good. Unlike other songs of hers that I've heard, this is a country song, and Chappell Roan can surprisingly do songs like this, It gives off the vibes of anything from Megan Moroney, Lainey Wilson, or any other female country singer from this era, plus Chappell Roan sounds pretty good here. Yeah, quite a good song.
Two weeks after I last talked about her, Lizzo is back with another new song, this is called Still Bad. More like Still Forgettable. It's pretty good, she sounds fine, there's nothing here that I'm completely wowed by. That's all.
J Hope from BTS makes his solo Hits 1 debut after they didn't pick up on his recent song with Don Toliver and Pharrell, at least not yet, this is a collaboration with Miguel called Sweet Dreams. This is a solid song, although I was expecting to like this one a bit more. They both do a solid job on here and it has a decent enough beat, it hasn't exactly clicked for me as of yet.
Lastly, we have a new Knox song called 50/50. As expected, this is another great song by him. It has a great beat and he sounds quite good per usual, and I think what does it for me here is the lyrics, it describes a relationship that isn't fully working out and he wants to get it on track. So yeah, yet another solid Knox song, I'm still fine with Hits 1 picking up on his music.
We lost Garden Of Eden, Lose Me Like You Mean It, and Fxck Up The World. Garden Of Eden is in the abyss and could still debut next week, and I'm not all that disappointed about the other two leaving.
Blurbs:
Our exits were Oscar Winning Tears and Slow Motion. I was not expecting either of these to leave, I'm perfectly fine with Oscar Winning Tears leaving but Slow Motion should have lasted a few more weeks at least.

Denial Is A River thankfully dropped a few spots. Good. We don't need this, her latest release is better.
With Sally When The Wine Runs Out jumping four spots off the debut, it is now Role Model's highest peaking song on here. For reference, Going Out only peaked at #25 back in 2020.
Sorry I'm Here For Someone Else and Love In Real life got decent sized jumps off their debuts. If only I liked these more...
Good News thankfully re-entered the top 10.
The only other notable thing in the top 10 is our new #1, That's So True by Gracie Abrams. I kind of saw this coming, and I'm honestly fine with this being here for now, I hope this isn't #1 for too much longer, it could possibly get a bit annoying. Also, we will need a shake up in the top 5 and even the top 10 soon.
I guess that does it for me this week, see you guys next week.
