We only have one debut, that is Love Me To Heaven by the Jonas Brothers. And it's pretty easy to see why I like this one right now. It's another quite fun pop song in the key of Bb major with the lyrics spelling out a love song, and Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas both sound quite good here. Super happy I heard this.

Hitbound:
Jack Harlow/ Doja Cat- Just Us
Michael Clifford- Cool (Debut)
Dove Cameron- Too Much
Crash Adams- Karaoke (Debut)
Ed Sheeran- Azizam (Debut)
Sombr- Undressed
Miley Cyrus- End Of The World (Debut)
Knox- Going Going Gone (Debut)
Ravyn Lenae- Love Me Not
Hayes Warner- Threw Me Away (Debut)
Jonah Marais- Better Place
Emei- Crazy Stupid Love
Jon Bellion- Wash
Henry Moodie- Indigo
Kesha/ T Pain- Yippee Ki Yay
Thomas Day- Sleep When We're Dead

Our first debut comes from Michael Clifford from 5 Seconds Of Summer, this song is called Cool. Ethan actually compared this to something Knox would write, and I could sort of see this. The beat's fine and Michael Clifford sounds good, there's nothing about this that sticks out. I think I'll take actual Knox songs over this.

Hits 1 is still picking up on Crash Adams, and today, we have Karaoke. This is a solid song. The beat is cool and the singer sounds pretty good, my real issue is the key change at the end, so that's why this isn't as good as it should be... oh well, better that Crash Adams used a key change here than if Pitbull and Bon Jovi used one on a pitbullized version of Livin On A Prayer, I guess.

Next up, Ed Sheeran is back on HB for the first time since American Town a couple years ago, this is called Azizam (not exactly sure what that means). Doesn't matter though, as this song is quite good. The beat is rather fun and Ed Sheeran sounds quite good per usual. Honestly, his best in a hot minute.

On the topic of artists I haven't heard from in a hot minute, Miley Cyrus is back for the first time since her relatively overrated 2023 (Endless Summer Vacation and Used To Be Young), this is called End Of The World. This is pretty good, but not exactly great. It has an interesting beat and Miley Cyrus sounds pretty good, nothing too special though. So it's fine for now, let's hope this doesn't go full Endless Summer Vacation.

Well, color me surprised. I brought up Knox earlier when talking about Cool by Michael Clifford, and now I get to talk about the title track from Knox's new album Going Going Gone. And yes, this is just what I was expecting from him. It's a pop punk banger and Knox sounds quite good per usual, and the lyrics are about a heartbreak he supposedly experienced, so yeah, certified banger from him.

Lastly, we have more Hayes Warner. Just great. At least this was released the day before this episode of HB aired instead this being a Hits 1 exclusive... and then we get to the actual song, and it's not that bad, it has an interesting rock type beat, she sounds fine, and this seems to be about regretting making changes to herself for a relationship that didn't work out, so really, this is better than it should be, but still not all that great.

We lost Twilight Zone, Physical, Sweet Dreams, 50/50, A Lot More Free, and FINALLY IKYK. Twilight Zone is in the abyss, so we'll see if it debuts next week (by which I mean 5 days from when I'm writing this). Physical, Sweet Dreams, and 50/50 definitely deserved better, A Lot More Free sucked ass, so good riddance to that, and IKYK lasted too long and was fading on me, so good riddance to that as well.

Blurbs:
Our lone exit was Safeword. That was just alright for me, so I'm not all that upset about it leaving.

I'm perfectly fine with Ordinary jumping off the debut.

Not as thrilled that Garden Of Eden dropped off its debut.

Ok why did Luther randomly back into the top 20? This is starting to fade on me, so I hope this is relatively short lived.

Great to see Anxiety jumping into the top 15.

Hahaha, Bed Chem fell to #8 after only one week at #1. Keep dropping.

It was replaced in the top 5 by Sports Car. It would be interesting to see this hit #1.

And our new #1 this week is I Love You I'm Sorry by Gracie Abrams. I'm a bit surprised this made #1 nearly nine months after its release, but I'm perfectly fine with this as it is still my favorite song from The Secret Of Us, the key it's in and the relatable lyrics do it for me. Not sure how long this will last at #1, but I'll take what I can get.

I guess that does it for me this week, see you guys next week.
