Up first, we have a second collab between Morgan Wallen and Post Malone after I Had Some Help from about a year ago, this is called I Ain't Coming Back. And if I'm being honest, this might be better than that song. It has a pretty good beat to it and Morgan Wallen and Post Malone once again sound quite good together. Let's see how this ends up doing.
And then Nice To Meet You by Myles Smith re-entered. This makes sense since it's now impacting pop radio, but they couldn't have shipped Blink Twice instead?
Hitbound:
Michael Clifford- Cool
Michael Clifford- Cool

BigXThaPlug/ Bailey Zimmerman- All The Way
Zara Larsson- Pretty Ugly (Debut)
Lauren Spencer-Smith- If Karma Doesn't Get You (Debut)

Kesha/ T Pain- Yippee Ki Yay
Our first debut is Lorde's first new song in a hot minute, this is called What Was That. This is a bit interesting, not really anything I have any interest in listening to in the long term. The production is synthpop but feels a bit minimalistic for what it is supposed to be imo, although Lorde sounds pretty good here. So I'll take it.
Zara Larsson also makes a return this week, this is called Pretty Ugly (by the way, that is a rather inaccurate description on how she looks). And this might be one of my favorite songs from her. It has a catchy beat to it and is in G Minor, plus Zara Larsson sounds quite good per usual. Super fun.
After that iconicness, we now have a new Lauren Spencer-Smith song called If Karma Doesn't Get You. This is a solid song too. This more of a her being angry song that a her being sad song. And this honestly works rather well in my opinion. This could have been in a different key, and that is preventing me from liking it further. But other than that, I'll take this.
We have a second Myles Smith song on here this week, this is called My First Heartbreak. I usually like Myles Smith but this definitely isn't for me. There is little interesting production here and it is in a key that isn't fit for this kind of song, plus it has rather sad lyrics. Yeah, I'll just skip this.
Next up, Joe Jonas is back with Heart By Heart. Is it just me, or does this sound like his song Work It Out from last year? Yeah, that's mostly what I remember about this, and that makes only good. Joe Jonas sounds fine and it has a good beat, this is just a rather forgettable carbon copy of another song of his. We need a new DNCE song soon, because that is where Joe Jonas is at his best outside of the Jonas Brothers.
Our last debut comes from Benson Boone, this is called Mystical Magical. And this is definitely among his better songs, it honestly lives up to its title. The beat is quite cool and this is one of Benson Boone's better vocal performances. Such a fun song.
We lost Too Much, Just Us, Sleep When We're Dead, Karaoke, and Better Place. Too Much was here for, well, too much time and it was getting time for it to go. I wish Just Us had debuted because it was pretty good, and the other three I didn't fully care for.
Blurbs:
Our exits were Love Somebody (as I predicted last week) and Not At This Party. Again, not sure what the point of bringing Love Somebody back if it was going to leave the following week, and Not At This Party was good for Dasha standards, but I'm not exactly complaining about it leaving either.
Luther dropped huge, again, I'm not complaining here, since this has been here for a lot longer than it should've, and I think it even outlasted All The Stars' run back in 2018.
Sally When The Wine Runs Out jumped off its re-entry. I'm quite happy about that.
Love Me To Heaven finally jumped into the top 20. Top 15 next week plz?
End Of The World continues jumping.
Not much action in the top 10, including the top 3 holding their respective spots from last week. I'm still fine with Abracadabra at #1, I'm glad it's blocking Toxic Till The End, and it will be interesting to see if Call Me When You Break Up hits #1 or not.
I guess that does it for me this week, see you guys next week.
