Recommendations For Hits 1:
Felix Jaehn/ JHart- Pride
IAmChino/ Pitbull/ Victor Cardenas- Soy Asi
Josh Ross/ Akon- Drunk Right Now
Our first debut is Easy Lover by Miley Cyrus. This is good, I guess. It's definitely a little bit better than End Of The World, but that's all I can really remember about it. And that's really all you need to know about my opinion here.
God dammit, of course this next song debuted just outside the top 15. It's Manchild by Sabrina Carpenter, because apparently, no one else is tired of her yet. And this literally sounds like a carbon copy of Busy Woman, I literally see no differences between those two songs, and I'm therefore putting both songs in orange. So yeah, blatant rip-off of an already bad song, we don't need it. Next!
And for some inexplicable reason Nice To Meet You by Myles Smith re-entered again. Watch it leave again next week.

Twenty One Pilots are at work on a new album, and from it, we have the lead single called The Contract. This is pretty good, takes me back to their classic era. The beat here is pretty cool and Tyler Joseph sounds great here per usual. I hope this is a hit.
On the topic of bands who are making their first HB appearance in a hot minute, All Time Low are here with Suckerpunch. This is also quite good. It's another fun banger from these guys and Alex Gaskarth sounds quite good here per usual. Fun song.
Oh boy... next up, we have Mariah The Scientist making her Hits 1 debut with Burning Blue. This is mediocre at best. And this has nothing to do with the fact that she's been signed to Tory Lanez's record label before, but rather that this is a generic and slow R&B song that I've heard a few times and it isn't in a key that would make me find it any better. At least Mariah The Scientist sounds fine... but yeah, we really didn't need this.
The Paradox bring their second song to Hits 1 after Do Me Like That from earlier this year, this is called Get The Message. I'm definitely impressed by what I've heard from these guys thus far, because this song is also a banger, I might even like it more than Do Me Like That. The beat here is wild and Eric Dangerfield once again sounds great. I should also point out that Ethan said this sounds like a Blink 182 song, and I kind of agree, especially in the sense that Eric Dangerfield sounds a little bit like Tom DeLonge here. So yeah, fun song, hopefully this is on the countdown.
Hits 1 switched out Money Is Everything by Addison Rae for what appears to be the actual single, Fame Is A Gun. And honestly, my opinion here is similar to what I talked about last week. She sounds good enough and I like the beat here, although this is a bit more forgettable. That's all I have to say.
Wow... it's been a minute since Kehlani was last on Hits 1, apparently it was 5.5 years ago when they did Good Thing with Zedd, which was solid. And then this time last year, they featured on the remix to Jordan Adetunji's song that was named after them, which I still haven't heard. Today, Folded makes its debut on here. This is alright. It's another R&B song but definitely better than that Mariah The Scientist song I talked about earlier, plus Kehlani sounds good here. I'll take this a little bit.
Our last song comes from Audrey Hobert, whom you may remember from when she wrote a few songs from Gracie Abrams' The Secret Of Us album, those include Risk, Blowing Smoke, I Love You I'm Sorry, Let It Happen, I Knew It I Know You, Normal Thing, and That's So True. Today, she brings her first original song, Sue Me. I actually like this. Audrey Hobert has a solid singing voice and this has a decent beat. I'm kinda glad she started making her own songs as well, if this song is any indication of what she will be putting out.
We lost Sapphire, Just Keep Watching, Young & Dumb (despite that being the extra), Money Is Everything (as I mentioned earlier), Momma Song, and Heart By Heart. The first two might be in the abyss, and as of when I'm writing this, Sapphire is actually on the airplay chart, so fingers crossed it debuts soon. Young & Dumb could be in the abyss as well since it was the extra and the Mashup had both Avril Lavigne and Pierre Bouvier on recently. As for the other three, I'm fine with them leaving, Heart By Heart especially stayed on a bit too damn long.
Blurbs:
Our exits were Cry For Me, Call Me When You Break Up, and Bad Dreams. As much as I liked all three of these, it was getting time for them to go, and hell, Cry For Me is the only one of the three that has a shot at making my 2025 best list.
Party 4 U finally isn't #19, thank god.
Good to see Love Me Not making the top 20. This has been growing on me lately.
I feel like Good News is probably going to spend a whole year on the countdown at this rate.
Hopefully, Mystical Magical makes the top 10 next week.
Sally When The Wine Runs Out is now in the top 5. I hope this hits #1 soon.
Unfortunately, that might not happen because of our new #1 this week, Busy Woman. Usually I tolerate when Sabrina Carpenter has been hitting #1 lately, but here, hell fucking no. I've made it rather clear this sucks ass, and while I'm not surprised this is #1, I'm pissed nonetheless. I'm honestly praying this doesn't end up blocking Sally When The Wine Runs Out and/ or Azizam, those two songs are so much better it's not even funny. I hope this gets dethroned next week, we don't need it here in the first place.
I guess that does it for me this week, see you guys on Saturday
