As I spoiled in my last post, Golden from the new Netflix movie Kpop Demon Hunters debuts this week. This is good, though nowhere near as good as We Don't Talk About Bruno from Encanto, which made its way on here in a similar way. All actresses playing the members of the fictional Kpop girl group Huntr/x sound pretty good, it has a decent enough beat, it just hasn't clicked on me yet, and it's been about a month since I first talked about this, so it's highly unlikely that it eventually will.

Coming somewhat out of nowhere, Sombr's song Back To Friends, which has been in the abyss for a few weeks and is doing something on Mediabase, debuts this week. I honestly prefer Undressed over this. This has similar lyrical content to that song but is a bit slower. Also, it's somewhat forgettable. It's decent enough though.

Lastly, Revolving Door by Tate McRae re-entered. Ok then.

Hitbound:
Thomas Day- She Got A Thing About Her
Alessi Rose- Dumb Girl (Debut)
JasonTheWeen/ D4vd- Summer Uptown
Audrey Hobert- Wet Hair (Debut)
MGK- Miss Sunshine (Debut)
Conan Gray- Vodka Cranberry
The Kid Laroi- Hot Girl Problems (Debut)
Jessie Murph- 1965
Jonas Brothers- I Can't Lose
Michael Clifford- Remember When (Debut)
Sombr- 12 To 12 (Debut)
Katseye- Gabriela
Sienna Spiro- You Stole The Show (Debut)
OneRepublic- Beautiful Colors (Debut)
Haven Madison- Castle
Maroon 5- California

Well, just great. Hits 1's inability to stop picking up on Alessi Rose's music is starting to get completely out of hand, and now we have Dumb Girl. Yeah, this is mediocre at best. It is on the slow side and isn't in a key that I have the intention of listening to a song at this tempo in. If they could just go the rest of 2025 without picking up on any Alessi Rose songs, that would be great.

Well, we go to something a decent bit better, Audrey Hobert's latest single Wet Hair. This is pretty good, though it isn't exactly as good as Sue Me. I still like her voice here and the beat is pretty good. I'm still impressed by what she is putting out for herself.

Up next, MGK has a new song from his upcoming album called Miss Sunshine. This is also pretty good. The beat is once again pretty good and MGK sounds great. I get that this isn't exactly pop punk, but it's still solid. I'll definitely take it.

The Kid Laroi is also back with a new song called Hot Girl Problems. I should point out that he got Iris and Hannah from this past season of Love Island on here. And yes, this is as good as I was expecting it to be. The trap beat is solid and The Kid Laroi once again sounds pretty good, and the lyrics seem to reference his supposed breakup with Tate McRae. My one complaint is that I feel like this could have used a guest verse from BigXThaPlug, but that's not a huge problem at all. Great song.

Michael Clifford from 5 Seconds Of Summer has another solo song here called Remember When. This is alright, nothing too special. It has a good enough beat to it and Michael Clifford sounds good here, it's just a bit forgettable. That's all.

Sombr now brings his third song here, this is called 12 To 12. This is pretty good. Not gonna lie, he kind of sounds a bit like Damiano David on here and this song has the best beat compared to Undressed or Back To Friends.

Uhh... remember Sienna Spiro from her song Dream Police from earlier this year? If not, I don't blame you. Well today, she brings us You Stole The Show... whatever the fuck this is supposed to be. This is ass. This is so goddamn boring with little to no production and barely evolves. Sienna Spiro sounds alright but it's not enough to save the song. I hope this flops really fucking hard.

Lastly, we have a new song from OneRepublic called Beautiful Colors. This really just good. It has a decent enough beat and Ryan Tedder sounds pretty good, the key just doesn't do it for me. I'll take past OneRepublic songs over this.

We lost Eternity, That Could Be Me, Everything Anything, Illegal, Why Is She Still Here, New Friends, Vampire Diaries, and Better. Eternity is in the abyss, so hopefully, it debuts next week. We traded out the two Alessi Rose songs from last week for a more mediocre song from her. Illegal also seems to be in the abyss, so hopefully, that debuts soon. Why Is She Still Here and New Friends were a bit forgettable, and the last two should have debuted.

Blurbs:
Our exits were Love Me To Heaven, End Of The World, and Just Keep Watching. Love Me To Heaven had a pretty good run and the other two, I was never completely sold on.

Seems like Blue Strips is falling back a few spots. Hopefully this is out of here soon.

Unfortunately, On My Mind also fell back a few spots. Hopefully, that rebounds.

Priceless is in the top 15 for the first time ever.

No Time To Talk got a huge boost to #10. That's great to see.

Azizam unfortunately took a huge tumble from #1 after only one week.

Love Me Not is now at #5. I'd honestly love to see that happening.

Well, that unfortunately isn't likely, because as I spoiled last week, Manchild is now #1. Ethan already did most of the calling this out on his blog, so I'm just going to keep it brief. We've had way too many Sabrina Carpenter songs hit #1 in 2024 and 2025, and Manchild is now her 7th straight #1 after Feather, Espresso, Please Please Please, Taste, Bed Chem, and Busy Woman were previously #1. Normally, I'd be fine, but when the song sucks as much as this one does, no I'm not. I'd like this streak to stop at seven, thank you very much.

I guess that does it for me in this post, see you guys in my next one.
