We have one debut this week, it's Lady Gaga's new song from the latest season of Wednesday called The Dead Dance. And this is thankfully a lot better than her other Wednesday affiliated song, Bloody Mary. The beat here makes a lot more sense and Lady Gaga sounds pretty good. I'll take this.

First up, Ed Sheeran put out Play, and from it, we have Camera, which he apparently originally wrote for Justin Bieber in 2021 but then forgot about until recently. I kind of like this. It has a solid beat to it and Ed Sheeran sounds pretty good. And yes, I can actually see Justin Bieber singing this. I should also point out that this is supposed to be a power ballad, but it honestly doesn't feel like a ballad to me (well, maybe a little bit). That's all I need to say.

Up next, we have a random newcomer named Jade LeMac with her new song Running Home. This is pretty solid. It has a decent enough beat and Jade LeMac sounds pretty good. I'll take this on here.

Twenty One Pilots also dropped their new album Breach, and from it, we have City Walls. This is another banger from them. The beat on here is on point and Tyler Joseph once again sounds pretty good. Once again impressed by one of their albums.

To continue on with rock type bangers, we have the band Beauty School Dropout making their Hits 1 debut with Heart Away. Apparently, these guys were mentored by Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy and Mark Hoppus from Blink 182... and I can draw comparisons between this song and both Fall Out Boy and Blink 182, and that's a compliment. This is a banger and a half. The beat is insane and lead vocalist Colie Hutzler sounds pretty good. Plus, this seems to be about preventing any heartbreak from a girl, which makes the lyrics pretty relatable. I might look out for more songs from these guys in the future.

Demi Lovato is still doing EDM songs for her new album, and that includes this next song, Here All Night. I like this more than I like Fast. The EDM production is once again quite good and Demi Lovato sounds good per usual, and this seems to be in G Minor, so obvious bonus points. Another EDM banger from her.

Oh goodie. More Olivia Dean. She's back after that mediocre at best song Nice To Each Other flopped hard, this is called Man I Need, and it's actually on the hot 100, so I have less questions as to why it is here. So how's the song? I'll give it this, it's definitely a bit better than Nice To Each Other, but I still wouldn't call it great. The beat here makes more sense and Olivia Dean also sounds better here, but there's something about this that hasn't clicked yet. I'll take this for now.

Uhh... why are we picking up on 9 year old Blackpink songs? Interesting. Anyways, for no reason whatsoever, aside from being featured in the current season of Wednesday, their 2016 song Boombayah made its way on to Hitbound. This is pretty good for what it is. The production is solid and all four of them sound pretty good, also, this has a solid drop. I still don't think this needs to be here, but the song is good enough for me not to complain that it is here.

And saving the best for last, we have a collaboration between Damiano David (although I heard that Maneskin will reunite before the end of the year), Tyla, and Nile Rodgers called Talk To Me. This is quite good. It has solid production, including solid guitar from Nile Rodgers, and both Damiano David and Tyla sound pretty good, and sound surprisingly good together when they sing the hook. Shockingly great song.

We lost Drum Show, Holy Water, Everybody's Looking At Me, Happen To Me, We're Not Together, Like It Like That, and Castle. The first four were quite good and deserved to debut (although in Happen To Me's case, the Steve Aoki remix is better and that's the version I will be using on my 2025 best list in three months). And I'm fine with the last three leaving, especially Castle, which is still quite bad.

Blurbs:
Like a couple weeks ago, our only exit was Nice To Each Other. Yeah, I see no reason why this needed to re-enter last week if it was only going to leave the following week.

Seems like Cliche might be on its way out.

Same Mouth also might be on its way out. It's kind of time for that.

About time Vodka Cranberry jumped.

Umm... why is Ordinary rebounding?

I guess I'm fine with Gabriela getting a boost.

Of course Tears jumped huge off the debut.

Thankfully, A Little More also jumped huge to just outside the top 5. I might want this to hit #1 soon.

The top 3 has not changed in a few weeks. Something needs to happen up there soon.

I guess that does it for me this week, see you guys whenever I post next.
