Up first, we have Raye replacing herself with Click Clack Symphony. I only briefly mentioned my opinion on this back when I did my catch up post, and my opinion here still stands. This is solid. Hans Zimmer arranged an amazing instrumentation that Raye sounds pretty good over, this just feels a bit on the forgettable side. I'm still fine with it eventually making its way out of the abyss.

Ariana Grande is also back on the countdown for the first time in about a year, this is called Hate That I Made You Love Me. This is pretty solid. In my opinion, it sounds a lot like Kill Bill by Sza of all songs, but the lyrics seem less violent. Also, Ariana Grande sounds pretty good here per usual. I'll take this.

And saving the best for last, we have Sienna Spiro FINALLY making a good song, this is Material Lover, and it's from The Devil Wears Prada 2. And yes, this has grown on me since it first debuted Hitbound. Sienna Spiro sounds a lot better over upbeat production than she does in slower songs like Die On This Hill, You Stole The Show, or The Visitor, and this beat is rather good. I'm glad she knows how to make less boring music.

Hitbound:
Knox- Long Story Short
Taylor Swift- I Knew It I Knew You (Debut)
Charli XCX- SS26
The Beaches- Edge Of The Earth (Debut)
Alessi Rose- Skin
MGK/ Wiz Khalifa- Girl Next Door
Alex Warren- Passenger (Debut)
Stella Lefty- I Know I Know
Charli XCX- Rock Music
Niall Horan- Tastes So Good (Debut)
Role Model- High Hopes 3000 (Debut)
H33ra- Shook
Tiffany Stringer- Supernova
Lizzo- Happy 2 Be (Debut)
Kevin Jonas- Little Things
Ravyn Lenae- Handle

Just great. I don't think anyone was asking Taylor Swift to do a song for the Toy Story 5 soundtrack, but unfortunately, that's what I have to start off talking about. This is called I Knew It I Knew You. Mikey Piff said this had something to do with Jessie's backstory, and I instantly thought of the snoozefest from Toy Story 2 known as When She Loved Me. Granted, this isn't as boring as that song is, but it's still not good. The beat is only somewhat good, and of course Taylor Swift has absolutely zero chance of saving the song at all. God, please let Toy Story 5 have actually good songs.

Remember The Beaches from Blame Brett a couple years ago? Well, apparently, their 2023 song Edge Of The Earth might be going viral again as it's on some Amazon show called Off Campus. This is good, but not as good as Sheppard's song from a couple years ago that Daniel had on one of the earliest HOF episodes. The beat here is on the tolerable side and Jordan Miller sounds pretty, good, this hasn't fully clicked on me yet. It may someday, but I'll never know.

Oh finally, a great song. This is Passenger by Alex Warren, and it is really good. It is super upbeat, in Bb major, and Alex Warren sounds really good here per usual. Also, this seems to be about a one sided relationship. This is easily among his best songs.

Niall Horan recently dropped his new album, and from it, we have Tastes So Good. This is honestly pretty cool. The production on here gives off pop punk vibes and in a good way, and Niall Horan sounds rather good over it. This might be my favorite on the album thus far.

Role Model has made his return, this is called High Hopes 3000. This is super cool. The beat here is super fun and Role Model sounds super good over it, and this is in the right key for the job. Another banger from him.

Our last song is from Lizzo, this is called Hapy 2 Be. This is solid. It has a decent enough beat and Lizzo sounds pretty good. It's just a bit on the forgettable song. That's all.

We lost Doors, End Of An Era, 2 Hard 4 The Radio, Be Her, and Repeat It. The first two are done for good and the last three are in the abyss, which is how it should be. 2 Hard 4 The Radio, Be Her, and especially Repeat It should all debut the countdown.

Blurbs:
Our Exits were Runway, So Easy (To Fall In Love), and Where Is My Husband. I'm a bit sad that Runway flopped as much as it did, and the other two lasted rather long, and in Where Is My Husband's case, it was by far the oldest song on the countdown.

Not surprised The Cure jumped huge off its debut.

She Did It Again is starting to do something! It's a miracle!

I'm totally okay with Bring Your Love cracking the top 15.

I hope Elizabeth Taylor is indeed on its way out.

Umm... why did American Girls jump to #6?

Dracula finally cracked the top 5 after 21 weeks. Since it's been here for a long time, I don't know how long it will last though.

And we have the expected new #1 that is Drop Dead. I'm obviously glad this made #1. I feel like we have not had a lot of #1s in 2026, so it feels a bit refreshing to have a new one. It will be interesting to see if Dracula can overtake it, hopefully yes.

I guess that does it for me in this post, see you guys in the next one.
