 Hello everyone, welcome back to another countdown post. I was in Boston over the weekend playing with the UC band at the first ever Fenway Bowl. During the game, the weather was not as bad as the day before, but UC lost by 17 points, and I listened to the countdown afterwards, and... it was average, there were some good things, but Taylor Swift is still #1 and she had another song off that extremely annoying album Midnights debut way too high. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!? No seriously, what the actual fucking fuck? We have another single off Taylor Swift's Midnights album debuting the countdown this week... AT #11! THIS MAKES NO SENSE! Apparently, this got little to no airplay last week, and if that is the case, Simply The Best and Creepin should have also debuted. See, this proves everything I said in previous rants. It's as though Hits 1 is only sending the fucking surveys out to Taylor Swift stans in order to rig the results of her songs in order to let Anti Hero be #1 and now they are letting Lavender Haze debut almost in the top 10 for no fucking reason and that annoys the hell out of me. As for this song, it's your everyday overrated AF Taylor Swift song, but in Bb major, and even that can't save the song from being bad. I think I've just had it with Taylor Swift. I really hope this is the last song off Midnights Hits 1 picks up on, because I really need a break from Taylor Swift ASAP.

Our First debut is from Renee Rapp, this is called Too Well. This is pretty good. She sounds good and the production is cool, I also like the melodies and the song is in my happy key of Bb. I hope this can become a hit.

So Hits 1 replaced Shirt by Sza with a random track off SOS called Nobody Gets Me. I haven't listened to the album yet, but I this might be one of the weaker ones off it. She sounds fine, but it is somewhat slow. I'd be fine with this on here for now, but I could see it getting fairly annoying.

Next up, we have this. This is called Ever Fallin and it's by Tiktokker Kate Peytavin. Apparently, this samples a song from Shrek 2, and I'd like to state that the first Shrek film was my favorite in the series and the only thing I remember about the second film is that Fiona's dad is Nearly Headless Nick from Harry Potter and her mom is Mary Poppins. As for this new song, it's somewhat interesting in how it sampled that Shrek 2 song in almost the same way Betty by Yung Gravy sampled Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley. But that is better than this because it's somewhat slower from what I remember and it's more forgettable.

Lastly, These Nights by Loud Luxury and Kiddo re-entered. Happy it's back.

We lost I'm Yours, Shirt, Remember, and Dreamers. Hits 1 fucked over another great EDM song in Remember even though both Becky Hill and David Guetta have better songs, I'm Yours was fine, but not that great, and the other two are in the abyss, so hopefully Dreamers debuts next week, and I could not care less on whether Shirt debuts or not.

Blurbs

We lost one song this week, 2 Be Loved by Lizzo. It was getting kind of old and nowhere near as good as About Damn Time, but I would have definitely taken it over what it was replaced by.

At least Calm Down is starting to climb again.

Snap is continuing to fall after its big drop last week. Good. Get the fuck out of here next week.

Unfortunately, Enough fell six spots. I hope this rebounds next week.

I can't decide if My Mind 7 Me is starting to get annoying or not. I want to like it more, but it's just too slow.

HAH! Music For A Sushi Restaurant fell seven spots. Good riddance to that entire fucking album.

After about four weeks at #18 or #19, Uh Oh jumped to #15.

I Ain't Worried rebounded four spots? Okay, I don't remember it on last week's survey. Definitely not complaining at all.

I really hope Eyes On You hits the top 10 next week.

Million Dollar Baby is back in the top 5. Star Walkin hit a new peak of #2. Forget Me held on to #4. I hope at least one of these can hit #1 in between Anti Hero and Lavender Haze.
